Getting There

Take the TTC Line 2 (Bloor–Danforth) subway to High Park Subway Station. The park entrance is directly beside the station.

2. Toronto Islands

  • Visitors can enjoy sandy beaches, cycling, kayaking, picnic areas, and some of the city's best skyline views.

  • The islands provide a peaceful escape from the busy downtown core.

Directions

Get off at Union Subway Station then walk down Bay Street to the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal. Get on the ferry to the island. The ferry ride takes approximately 10–15 minutes.

3. Centre Island Beach

  • Centre Island Beach is one of Toronto's most popular swimming beaches on the Toronto Islands. The beach features soft sand, calm waters, picnic areas, and nearby attractions such as Centreville Amusement Park. It is a favourite summer destination for families and visitors.

Getting There

Get off at the Union TTC Subway Station. Take the ferry from the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal and exit at Centre Island Ferry Dock. The beach is a short 10-minute walk from the ferry terminal.

4. Woodbine Beach

  • Woodbine Beach is Toronto's largest urban beach and a popular destination for swimming, volleyball, and waterfront recreation.

  • The beach is connected to the Martin Goodman Trail, making it ideal for walking and cycling.

Directions

Take the TTC to Woodbine Station (Line 2) and take the 92 Woodbine South bus to the beach. Drivers can access the area near Woodbine Avenue and Lake Shore Boulevard East.

7. Edwards Gardens
